Plastic lumber is made of 100% recycled
polyethylene, mostly from used milk jugs and paint buckets.
By recycling plastic, we prevent its entry into the waste
stream thus lessening the amount of plastic in our nation's
landfills. Because plastic lumber is a substitute for wood,
its use saves trees thereby preserving our forests as well.
Additionally, plastic lumber does not leach chemicals or tannic
acid into the soil as chemically treated wood does minimizing
its impact on local streams and ground water. Plastic lumber
is not only economical, but earth-friendly too!
